One of two male passengers who attacked a female employee at Noi Bai International Airport on October 19 is an inspector from the Hanoi Transport Department.
At 2 pm on October 19, Tran Duong Tung, 32 and Dao Vinh Thuan, 37, attacked Nguyen Le Quynh Anh, a Vietnam Airlines airport service deputy at the airport after they missed their flight.

Ta Duc Giang, who witnessed the case, said that the two passengers booked tickets for Vietnam Airlines Flight VN7256 on the Hanoi-HCM City route. The two men missed the closing of boarding.
At that time, Giang and Anh instructed the two passengers to go to another counter to complete procedures for another flight. But, they became angry and insulted the staff.
Anh used her mobile phone to film the incident and was then grabbed by Thuan. Tung rushed to hit her in the head. The case was recorded by the airport security camera.
Anh was taken to hospital for a medical check-up.
Chief Inspector of the Hanoi Transport Department Tran Dang Hai said the department had demanded Thuan to explain about his actions.
