The Hanoi People’s Committee has ratified adding trade centres to the city’s wholesale and retail network scheme by 2020, with a vision toward 2030.

Accordingly, four type 1 trade centres will be built in Kim No commune in Dong Anh district (about 3-5 hectares); Da Ton commune in Gia Lam district (about 3-5 hectares); Dai Mo ward in Nam Tu Liem district (about 6 hectares); and Ngoc Hoi-Lien Ninh communes in Thanh Tri district (8-10 hectares).
The trade centre in Yen Nghia precinct in Ha Dong district which covers 2.6 hectares is type 2.
Under the city People’s Committee’s Decision 5058 on the wholesale and retail network scheme by 2020, with a vision toward 2030; Hanoi will have 64 trade centres and 32 shopping centres./. BTA
