MMA’s Research and Training Center for Pharmacy receives noble order

PANO – The Research and Training Center for Pharmacy of the Military Medical Academy (MMA) held a ceremony on November 12 to mark its 50th founding anniversary and receive the third-class Fatherland Protection Order.

At the ceremony, delegates recalled outstanding achievements of generations of teachers and students of the school’s pharmaceutical sector in the past. Over the past 50 years, they have always attached much importance to overcoming difficulties and fulfilling their assigned missions. The center awarded degrees of Bachelor of Pharmacy to nearly 1,000 students while granting MSc and PhDs for hundreds of others.
Since 1981, the center’s teachers and students have carried out 12 State-level research projects and 25 ministerial level ones, making a great contribution to the development of the military pharmaceutical sector and health treatment for troops and people.
On behalf of the State President, MMA’s Director Major General Do Quyet handed over the third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the center’s representatives. Speaking at the event, he highly praised the center’s achievements and asked them to continue bringing into play their traditions and building a contingent of teachers and lecturers with high expertise, contributing to meeting targets of training and scientific research in the current context.
