Japanese Prime Minister (PM) Shinzo Abe plans to visit Moscow on April 27th-28th for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Muneo Suzuki, who leads the New Party Daichi of Japan, announced the plan after a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov in Moscow on April 11th.
During the meeting, PM Shinzo Abe and President Vladimir Putin will focus on plans for joint economic activities on disputed islands.
The Government of Japan has announced that they are looking forward to the visit, which they believe will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two nations./.
